Biography and Education. Sinne Eeg was born on September 1, 1977, in Lemvig, Denmark. She studied at the Academy of Music in Esbjerg, graduating in 2003, and further honed her craft in New York City under American jazz singers Janet Lawson and Jay Clayton. Her early musical exposure included playing in local big bands and developing a deep appreciation for jazz vocalists with rich, lower voices, such as Julie London, Sarah Vaughan, and Cassandra Wilson<\/div>
