Info : This CD contains very spectacular Japanese and African percussion with great impact. Recorded live, and I mean live, pure sound and above all a lot of soundpressure. You should be able to feel the vibration of those large drums.
You can turn up the volume, but be careful it is heavy stuff. It is not only bass you hear but also a lot of high pitch percussion, since we want real sound and ambiance too, not a muffled one, but open. You must be able to look beyond this recording.
The reason is that we did not place our microphones to close to the instruments. As we all know the real sound of base needs a lot of space to reveal its great potential. So warn your neighbours when you play this CD or better invite them to listen to this spectacular performance by Circle Percussion from Holland.
