    “Lingbo Fairy,” with its unique oriental charm, is based on a famous classical work, composed by a renowned Chinese composer, and features the famous erhu master Song Fei as the main performer. This is a brand new album.
The composer spent more than a year collecting folk songs and invited producers and recorders from home and abroad to create the album.
    Song Fei: A renowned contemporary Chinese erhu performer. Currently serving as the Deputy Secretary-General of the China Nationalities Management String Music Society, Vice President of the Erhu Professional Committee, and Assistant Director of the Youth Performers Art Troupe; a Chinese musician.
Association Director, Chairman of the Chinese Erhu Society; Director of the China International Cultural Exchange Center; Vice President of the Beijing Chinese Traditional Music Society; Erhu Instructor at the China Conservatory of Music. Song Fei began learning Erhu from his father at the age of 7.
He studied erhu under the renowned erhu educator Professor Song Guosheng; in 1981, he was admitted to the Affiliated High School of Tianjin Conservatory of Music, where he received guidance from teachers such as Ji Guizhen, Ju Wenyu, and Zhao Yanchen; in 1987, he was admitted to the China Conservatory of Music, where he studied erhu for several years.
He studied under Professors An Ruli and Liu Mingyuan, learning to play various traditional Chinese bowed string instruments; he also studied the guqin (a seven-stringed zither) under Qin Nong Chenzhong, Li Xiangting, and Zhang Ziqian, and the pipa (a four-stringed lute) under Wang Fandi. In 1991, he achieved excellent results at the China…
She graduated from the music academy with a bachelor’s degree and won the academy’s grand prize; later, she was assigned to the Central Nationalities Orchestra as a soloist; in 1999, she transferred to the China Conservatory of Music to teach; and in 2001, she graduated from the China Conservatory of Music with a degree in “Nationalities” from the Ministry of Culture.
